TEACHING

UNIVERSITY TEACHING
I have experience teaching normative and applied ethics at the undergraduate and masters levels. My primary teaching experience is in teaching philosophy to non-philosophy students. At Radboud University I assisted with courses in Environmental Ethics; Bioethics; Philosophy for Water Managers; and Biology and Society, all of which were given to students in the beta faculty (otherwise put, students coming from scientific disciplines). At TU Delft, I led tutorials and supervised essay writing for several topic-specific courses on the Ethics & Philosophy of Technology. These were engineering students. More information on my university-level teaching, including a list of courses taught and my service-teaching philosophy, can be found here.

ENGLISH-LANGUAGE TEACHING
I teach English to non-native speakers on a voluntary basis. In 2009 I was certified through the English Language + Literacy program at LearningWorks (Portland, Maine, USA). In my current hometown, Nijmegen (NL), I volunteer at Gezellig Nijmegen.
